Ayodele Kehinde OLAWUYI is a Reader in the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than a decade of years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Head of Department and his research interest covers exploration geophysics, potential field geophysics, hydrogeophysics, environmental geophysics and data science. He has to his credit over twenty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and a technical report. He is currently supervising some Master’s and Ph. D dissertations.
Dr. Olawuyi has equally won a number of academic awards including the National Merit Award of Excellence and the Fulbright (JSD) Scholarship. He is an active member and Fellow of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria including Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Geological Society of America, Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers, Council of Mining Engineers and Geoscientists. He is currently an Editorial Board member of African Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (AJPAS), Kenya.
