Biography

Adeoye Taiye OLUSHOLA is an Exploration Geophysicist in the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with over 9 years of university teaching, research and administrative experience.

He has served as a faculty advisor to students at competitions sponsored by the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), where the university has performed admirably. His research interests include reservoir geophysics, seismic imaging and environmental studies.

He has more than 25 publications, published in reputable national and international journals. He is a co-author of the book on ‘Sequence Stratigraphy’.

Dr. Olushola had his first degree in Geology and an MTech and PhD degree in Geophysics.  He holds membership of professional bodies such as Nigeria Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS) and Nigeria Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE). He is a member of the Earth, Environment and Energy (EEE) Research group.
