Ismail Oluwaseye FOLORUNSO, is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 15 years of University Teaching, Research, and Administrative Experience.

He has served as Level Adviser, Examination officer, and Technical and Faculty representative to the Board of Examiners, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. His areas of research interest cover Mineral Exploration and Exploration Geophysics. He has to his credit over 15 publications in reputable outlets. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects.

Dr. Folorunso is a Certified COMEG member and member of professional bodies within and outside Nigeria such as Geological Society of America (GSA), Geochemical Society, Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits, Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), Society of Economic Geologists (SEG), Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorations (NAPE), Nigerian Association of Hydrogeologist (NAH), Nigerian Mining, Society for Geophysicist and Computational Geoscientists (SCGC), Nigerian Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
